What the job involves: 

• Ensure plant, equipment and facilities comply with and are maintained to relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations, through own actions, liaising and  supporting external Contractors.
• Carry out unsupervised reactive maintenance repairs, fault finding, testing to a wide range of services, helping to keep downtime to a minimum.
• Ensure departmental procedures are adhered to and maintained.  When required assist with maintaining plant register and all other test and monitoring records (i.e LEV, COSHH, lifting equipment, PAT, legionella etc).
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in a safe manner.  Produce and maintain risk assessments as required.
