Bucher Municipal acquires the remaining shares of Giletta S.p.A. in Italy

Bucher Municipal acquires the remaining 40% of Giletta S.p.A., Bucher Municipal’s Competence Centre for Winter Maintenance Equipment, located in Revello near Turin.

Giletta S.p.A. was founded in 1950 in Revello, Cuneo, by the Giletta family and has developed into one of the leading suppliers of winter maintenance equipment, in particular spreaders and ploughs.

Bucher Municipal invested in Giletta S.p.A. initially in 2002. In the past years, the winter maintenance business has grown both through additional acquisitions and organically. This has further strengthened Bucher Municipal's market position in Europe, especially in Italy, Germany, France and Spain.

Bucher Municipal very much appreciates the 20 years of successful partnership with Giletta S.p.A. and the very good cooperation. During the last couple of years Guido and Enzo Giletta successfully transferred the leadership to Mihajlo Maravic, who has been managing Bucher Municipal’s Competence Centre for Winter Maintenance Equipment since June 2021.
